SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two people are without a home after firefighters put out a fire on Orange Street in Springfield Sunday afternoon.
According to Springfield Fire Captain Drew Piemonte, firefighters were called to the fire at 273 Orange Street around 1:30 p.m. Piemonte said the fire appears to have started in the kitchen. There are no reported injuries. The two residents are being assisted by the Red Cross.
The Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad is investigating.
