Good Evening Brothers and Sister,
Considering the number of members that are out positive with COVID, and those awaiting testing due to symptoms or exposure, we wanted to remind the body what they can do to help manage our numbers and stay safe:
Wear proper PPE appropriately around the station AND while on a call, wash hands regularly, social distance during drill, if in a multi-company station split your time for lunch or dinner up in, and most importantly... please, if you have any symptoms of concern please call out of work and remain out until you are in receipt of a negative test or receive a doctor’s note clearing you for duty.
Covid-19 has a wide range of symptoms, mild to severe, which may appear anywhere from 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
· Fever or chills
· Cough
· Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
· Fatigue
· Muscle or body aches
· Headache
· New loss of taste or smell
· Sore throat
· Congestion or runny nose
· Nausea or vomiting
· Diarrhea
Fraternally,
Your Union Leadership
