SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WGGB) -- Springfield firefighters are on scene of a residential structure fire at 30 Clantoy Street at about 2:15PM on Saturday.
Captain Mike Richard of the Springfield Fire Department tells ABC 40 and Fox 6 that everyone got out of the house safely.
When firefighters arrived on scene they found the attic of the house fully involved. Wind and the weather hampered the firefighters efforts and it took about 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
Four people are being displaced by the fire and will be staying down the street with family.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time. Tune into ABC 40 News at 6 and 11PM and Fox 6 News at 10 tonight for the latest information.
